Meeting took place at the office of Wy'east at 7pm.

Jessica to match membership list with participants and those who did not come to Congregation Assesssment interviews will receive a questionnaire via mail from Wy'east.

Information from questionnaire due to Gretchen/Sherry by October 25^th.

Total number of participants: 37 signed up, additional came; approximately 42 participated in the oral discussions.

Childcare at November 17^th will be arranged by Jessica.

Times for meetings on 11/17 with minister, board, and congregation need to be re-confirmed.

Ben will solicit voluntary donations (including Board) to help defray Congregational Assessment costs.

Ben discussed possible fundraiser. We can receive 100 tickets for an early Chorale concert which we can sell at any price and collect the proceeds. Ben will forward the e-mail.

Rick discussed the following:

• Pledge is at approx. 90% of expected.
• Fundraisers - we are nowhere close to what we had projected. However, most of our fundraisers are scheduled later in year.
• Possibility of large plant sale with garden focus in the spring?
• Budget is balanced at this point.
• More income due to grants just coming in.
• Pledge reports: will run 01-02/02-03 reports for congregants and get them out end of October.

Position description - took existing job description and reformatted to show more of what job is vs what it isn't. Passed copies out to Board to review.

Attendance is down (RE). Celebration of Light will be smaller. Will be talking to RE Committee regarding how to address.

55 registered for RE this year - attendance has been about 20. This time last year, attendance was about 40.

Kit passed out her report to Board members.

Kit discussed with Board the Committee on Ministry and the committee's thoughts regarding how they can make themselves more visible? How can they be more helpful in the coming year given the Congregational Assessment and other issues the congregation is facing. Kit expressed how the Committee would like to meet with the Board.

It was suggested that the Committee talk with other congregations to get ideas, thoughts for success, and how to answer some of these questions as part of their work.
