Oregon Tradeswomen: Building economic independence for women since 1989

Date

For 26 years, Oregon Tradeswomen has been supporting women in nontraditional occupations that allow them to earn higher wages and provide financial security for themselves and their families. With an average entering the program wage of $12,600/year, our no cost training and job placement builds confidence and skills that allow women to increase their annual pay many times over. Lisa Palermo, the Development Director, will share details of how this program works and share stories from women in the program who are now doing jobs they never imagined and making wages that give them financial freedom.
