Debra thanked the members of the board for their help conducting the special congregation meeting and vote 9/7/2025

 

DRE lead teacher

Heather Donavan accepted the position.She began her job on 9/7/2025 Larry B to follow up on the required form for the background check.

 

Need for member volunteers for the in person services

Suggestions :

Take a signup sheet around during the offertory time of the service.

Include a description of volunteer opportunities in the chat.

 Make an Announcement at the service. 

Linda B will include this in the agenda for the membership committee meeting.

 

Membership Report

Accepted.

 

August Treasury Report

Larry B included this in the revised budget report which was presented at the 9/7/2025 Cong. meeting..

Revision of Bylaws

Linda B and Larry B volunteered to work on this. 

The goal is to complete this  by May 2026 for the Congregation Annual Meeting. The change in bylaws  must be approved by a vote by the  memes at this meeting

Linda B and Larry B  will recruit other members to help with this. Andy L volunteered to help with the revisions.

 

Worship Committee and Marketing Update 

Linda M sent an update 

Linda M is recruiting for a tech person to replace Candice. 

UUA Music Subscription: Debra explained that this is a valuable resource for the Worship and Music  Committees. Cost is $129/year.

 Discussion  of other items in her report is tabled until the October meeting to include Larry and Rev. Leslie

 

Posting of the Board minutes on the WEB site

Linda M had made the suggestion that the minutes be posted on the members only page of the WEB site. 

Board members agreed. Debra T will follow up with Gigi

Note: 2025.09.24: Anders moved "Board Minutes" to fall under "Members Only" privacy. Adding new "Board Minutes" will automatically put the Minutes under "Members Only" privacy.

 

Directory

Linda B, Ron T, and Hank H are working on this .

Status of members who have not pledged  or participated  for the past 15 months are being reviewed.

Debra suggested adding  emails owned by Wy’east UU . There is some confusion about the purpose of the Chat and the Wy’east News.

 

Finance Committee:

Larry B and D’On are on this committee. It is recommended to have 3 or 4 members on this committee.
