Welcome

Wy'east UU Congregation. We are an open religious community for people of all ages. We gather for renewal and fellowship. Our spiritual search is joyful, compassionate, and curious. Together we strive to bend the world towards love, truth, and justice.

We meet for worship online, Sundays at 10:30 AM.

On some Sundays, we also meet at the Community for Positive Aging, 1820 NE 40th, Portland, Oregon.

Masks are not required, but encouraged.

Hybrid Worship

As we transition back to in-person worship, we will continue to stream every service on Zoom.

Some services will also be held in-person at the Community for Positive Aging.

See our Upcoming Worship page for details about how to join us.

All are welcome

We welcome all people regardless of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, national or ethnic origin, or economic background.

Service animals are welcome at our worship services.

Readings from worship

Each week we say these words at the beginning of our worship service as we light our chalice:

We gather together in spiritual community.
Whoever you are, wherever you come from, you are welcome here.
May all who hunger for inspiration be filled.
May all in need of friendship be comforted.
Let us leave our time together refreshed anew, and carry our shared vision into the wider world.

And later we read our congregational covenant:

We covenant with each other as a community of love.
We will become our deepest and truest selves together.
We will be cared for, and we will be called on to care for others.
We will stumble, but will restore one another and begin again in love.
